The cat lay curled up in the warm room, where the pink marble exuded a slight coolness, contrasting with the warmth of the wooden floor beneath its paws. The flickering firelight cast a long shadow of the cat across the patterned woodwork. It squinted and yawned, its fluffy tail sweeping across the wood grain, laziness filled with the leisurely tranquility of a peaceful life.
